Get ready, Liberty Hill! A brand-new retail hub, Ace Square, is coming your way, and it's set to change the shopping scene. This exciting development, anchored by the retail giant Walmart, is slated for the northwest corner of State Highway 29 and Ronald Reagan Boulevard.
According to a leasing flyer from RESOLUT RE, the project is targeting a delivery date in the fourth quarter of 2026. That means it's time to start anticipating some new shopping and dining options!
Ace Square is designed to be a versatile space. It will feature two retail buildings, each offering a flexible 1,200 to 13,000 square feet of leasable space. This design allows for a variety of businesses, from smaller boutiques to larger stores. And this is the part most people miss: The Independent first reported on the project back in August 2025, so it's been in the works for a while!
But here's where it gets interesting: Ace Square is also described as being 'shadow-anchored' by H-E-B and a future Lowe’s. This means these popular stores are nearby, adding to the center's appeal.
What can you expect to find at Ace Square? Preliminary plans include some well-known names like Longhorn Steakhouse, Olive Garden, Bubba’s 33, PetSmart, and Ross. It is a big deal for the city.
